NautoSiGua - Automatic Notes for SIU Guaraní
NautoSiGua is a free Chrome add-on developed by InfoApp Argentina. It is designed to streamline the process of entering notes into the SIU Guaraní system.
This extension is specifically designed for the professor module of the SIU Guaraní system at Universidad Austral. It adds two buttons to the "Grade Entry," "Exam Grade Entry," and "Partial Grade Entry" pages: "Copy Students" and "Paste Grades."
The "Copy Students" button allows you to copy the list of students to the clipboard, which you can then paste into a spreadsheet where you can assign grades to each student. Once you have the range of two columns (student and grade) without headers, the "Paste Grades" button will automatically enter the grades into the SIU system.
"Paste Grades" also attempts to populate other columns, such as "result" and "condition," but it is crucial to review the pasted grades before saving.
Please note that "Paste Grades" only recognizes students with exact matching names. If your spreadsheet only contains last names or full names that differ from what appears in SIU, they will not be recognized. This is why it is recommended to start with the "Copy Students" button.
Grades can be numeric values, "Absent," or left blank. If the grade is blank, it will not be pasted. If the grade is not a number and starts with "A," it will be pasted as "Absent."
It is important to remember that the extension operates on the visible list of students. If your class is divided into multiple pages, you will need to repeat the process on each page.
NautoSiGua works on the following pages:
- Grade Entry
- Exam Grade Entry
- Partial Grade Entry
To verify that the extension is installed and functioning correctly, go to a subject's grade entry section. You should see two new buttons, as shown in the image. Advanced users may also find messages in the console.
